I was going threw BBC and they had a slide show that had pictures from all around the world. I noticed that the US is a lot different from anywhere else. I was looking at the pictures and I attomatically started judging everything. They show a picture of girls in Germany and I attomatically thought that it was a picture from the US. In one of my classes my teacher made us look at picture and write down where the picture was taken from and what the person in the picture was doing. Most of my class was wrong about everything. The people that dressed nicely were written down as US but it wasn't. It shows how judge mental the us really is to other countries.

In the story Activist 'beaten' after BBC story, a Uzbek rights activist helped BBC stop child labor and was beaten for it. BBC found that children as young as 11 were taking out of school and was forced to pick cotton in a cotton field. I find it kind of weird that the UK still has child labor. I would have thought that the UK would be the last place for that sort of stuff. It makes me wonder why kids didn't say anything. I mean I can understand the 11 year old's not saying anything but as far as the older teens I couldn't see why they wouldn't say anything about the labor. It makes me mad that people are to lazy to do the work themselves so they have to put it on someone else and make their lives a living hell.

Mr. Fisch talks about Kylene Beers and the National Writing Day. I never new there was such a thing as the National Writing Day. National Writing day is basically the whole world coming together and talking and writing about writing. Mr. Fisch says that Kylene Beer is on of the best writers around. He talks about her blog and how he inspires him to be a better writer. I think that everyone can learn from everyone, even if they aren't the smartest person around.

In Mr. Fisch's blog The Heritage School of Kabala, he states that Heritage High school has raised $60,000 and sent to to Sierra Leone. The school that they sent it to named it Heritage School of Kabala. I found this kinda fascinating because I've never seen a school do something like that. The last high school that I went to only collected money for the sports teams. They thought about nothing else then making the school seem good. I think it is amazing that kids donate money to a good cause.

Tony Wagner talks about learning in the 21st century. Tony says that teenagers are lacking knowledge in the technology area. He says that the schools should teach the kids 21st century learning. I believe that the teenagers are responsible for their own 21st century learning. Schools should have nothing to do with teaching in technology unless it's a tech studies class. I think if teenagers really want to know about the new technology then they should do it on their own time. Schools should be teaching other important things like social skills, math, English, forgen languages...etc.

I was watching BCC's youtube videos and I came across the name, Charlieissocoollike.I have watched all of his videos so I had to check out the video. Charlieissocoollike, Nerimon, Jimmy0010, and Johnnydurham19 are all coming together to make a number one hit in the UK. They are going this to get money for children in need. They formed a band named Chartjackers. The difference between say Michael Jackson's song We Are The World and the Chartjackers is that the WHOLE world can get involved and be a part of this. Charlie, Alex, Jimmy, and Johnny has nothing do with this except promote the cause and record the song. The whole world will be writing the song, making music videos, dancing, making the album cover, etc. I think it is amazing that they came up with this idea and let the people of the world feed off of it. It's pretty cool that these kids don't just think about themselves and just find away to get more subscribers.

I was reading Mr. Fisch's blog called We Have the Technology and he was talking about how the iPhone or other technology was getting smarter. I don't really think that the Bionic Eye Application is really making the iPhone smarter. You have to have wifi connection meaning it probably looks it up on the internet, cause if you think about it you can not gather all that information and put it to one application. I think Mr. Fisch didn't really think about it. Technology isn't that advanced. I mean maybe to him it is cause there wasn't all this technology around him but I don't think it is that advanced.
